The School

The Arts, Assembly Hall and Personal Values

The spiritual heart of the Academy is the Seven Great Hall.

The Hall is at once the Assembly Hall and the Chapel. Daily prayer is said at the assembly grounds.

Wednesday Services

Regularly on Wednesdays, services are held led by a member of staff or the headmaster/headmistress.

Sunday Services

On a more serious note note a non-denominational Sunday service led by a Catholic priest is held in the Great Hall.

BY THE FIRESIDE

Team games (e.g. Table tennis, football) and Drama give pupils the opportunity to work together.

Drama for Seven Great Princes Academy is at National level as "By the Fireside"-a screen-play which brings alive age-long traditional values enlivens our culture and teaches integrity. It is watched all over the world.

Societies and Clubs

Societies and Clubs play an important educative role. Through them pupils have contact with world beyond the classroom. Through them pupils discover:

  1. Their organizational abilities
  2. Leadership abilities.

The Green Club e.g. includes respect for the environment and Scripture Union builds character, the morals and love of one's neighbour.

The House System

The House System enables pupils to work together for the efficiency and progress of their House. House are six in number:

  • Cruickshank
  • Martey
  • Lartey
  • Dodoo
  • Kwarteng
  • Asare

Inter-House competitors are on daily and regular basis. They include:

  • Daily scores on neatness,
  • Termly sports competition,
  • General knowledge competition.

Monthly Quiz

Monthly Quiz occurs in the last Friday of every month. Held in the forecourt of the school there is class competition involving all subjects.
